What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine is the practice of utilizing the best of conventional and alternative medicine. This combination includes the use of various treatments such as supplements and herbs, as well as approaching the patient from a “body as a whole” point of view. Integrative medicine prescriptions include emphasis on lifestyle such as dietary programs and exercise.

Are you accepting new patients?

Do you accept insurance?

The Integrative Medicine Center is proud to be a program that accepts most forms of insurance. We are proud to be an integrative medicine program that can file with most insurance programs. At this time, we cannot file with Medicare or Medicaid. If Medicare is your primary insurance, we cannot file with your secondary insurance.

How long is the typical visit?

The initial visit is scheduled to be 45 to 60 minutes. Follow up visits are typically 20 to 30 minutes per visit. We work very hard to stay on schedule and pride ourselves on the time we spend with each patient visit.

Do you work with other physicians?

Yes, nearly all of our patients already have a primary care physician, and we are happy to work with other physicians as part of your healthcare team.

What are your office hours?

We see patients 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our supplement sales are available 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Our office is closed for lunch 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. daily.

What is your location?

The Integrative Medicine Center is located in Suite 100 of the Jackson Medical Building adjacent to the Schneck Medical Center, the hospital in Seymour, IN. Contact us here.

What do I bring to the first appointment?

Please take a moment to fill out the information for your first visit. Bring this information with you to the visit. It is also helpful for you to bring any supplements that you may be taking and a list of your current medication.

Do you carry supplements at the office?

The Integrative Medicine Center offers several professional grade supplements available for purchase. These supplements are chosen for their efficacy, quality, and cost effectiveness. Dr. Windley knows that it is not easy to sort through the various choices of unregulated supplements, and having appropriate choices readily available can save time and money, and helps with supplement dosing.
